Baptist Health System is a leading provider of health care in San
Antonio and South Texas. Baptist Health System includes five acute-care,
faith-based hospitals (Baptist Medical Center, North Central Baptist
Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, Southeast Baptist Hospital and St.
Luke*s Baptist Hospital). Good geographic locations allow residents
all around San Antonio to find a hospital near them. A commitment to
quality assures patients that they can entrust their health to a Baptist
facility. Baptist Health System has been recognized as a Solucient 100
Top Hospitals*, and each of the five hospitals has earned Accredited
Chest Pain Center designation. Each hospital has been designated as a
*Medicare Value Based Orthopedic Care Center,* and Baptist
Medical Center, Northeast Baptist Hospital and St. Luke*s Baptist
Hospital have been designated as *Medicare Value Based Cardiac Care
Centers.* They are the only Texas hospitals to have earned those
designations. Baptist has earned Primary Stroke Center Certification at
each of its five hospitals making it the first in San Antonio to be
certified.
The system also includes Baptist Cancer Center, the Brain and Stroke
Network, Baptist Regional Children*s Center, HealthLink wellness and
fitness center, seven Baptist M&S Imaging Centers, Northeast Bariatric
Center, community health and wellness programs, ambulatory services,
rehabilitation services, medical office buildings, San Antonio AirLIFE
air medical transport, a teaching center (School of Health Professions),
and other health-related services and affiliations.
